Slip on your best Derby spirit and join us for a Southern‑inspired culinary celebration where small bites, bold flavors, and a touch of bourbon take center stage. In this hands-on class, you’ll craft a trio of Kentucky‑proud favorites perfect for race‑day grazing: baby Hot Browns, bourbon‑glazed chicken skewers, and homemade biscuits piled high with creamy pimento cheese. As we chop, mix, glaze, and bake, you’ll explore the techniques behind these iconic dishes — from building rich, savory mini Hot Browns to mastering tender, flaky biscuits that melt in your mouth. And because no Derby celebration is complete without a little something in the glass, mint juleps may just be flowing as we cook our way through the menu. By the end, you’ll have a spread worthy of Churchill Downs and the skills to bring Derby Day flair to any gathering.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes class cancellations are necessary. For cancellations made up to 72 hours before the schedule start time of a class, you have two options to consider: - Refund your class fee in full back to the original form of payment -or- - Exchange for a different class that works better with your schedule For cancellations made less than 72 hours before the scheduled start of a class, we are not able to offer any refunds or exchanges. Cancellations or changes can be made by calling 914-755-4178 during normal business hours and speaking directly to a Depot Dave Catering representative. When we cancel a class due to inclement weather, or other circumstances beyond our control (e.g., power outages, facility issues, etc.), we will contact you by email or telephone with as much notice as possible and issue a full refund to the original form of payment. However, if we do not affirmatively cancel a class by email or telephone and you are unable to attend, our standard cancellation policy applies. Please note that Depot Dave Catering reserves the right to modify a class menu at any time due to ingredient availability or seasonality.
